This Privacy Policy explains how FromToHow ("we", "us", or "our"), operated by Máté Nusser (egyéni vállalkozó, Hungary), collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you visit fromtohow.com (the "Site"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and to complying with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Hungarian law.
1. Who we are

2. What data we collect
- Contact form: your email address and your message.
- Newsletter: your email address.
- Donations: if you choose to donate, your donation is handled by our payment provider (Lemon Squeezy). They process the payment details you enter; we do not receive or store your full payment-card data.
- Automatically: IP address, browser/device information, and pages visited, collected through cookies and analytics.
- Advertising & analytics identifiers: where you consent, our advertising and analytics partners may set cookies or similar identifiers (see sections 5–6 and our Cookie Policy).
3. How we use your data
- To read and respond to your messages, including with the help of AI-assisted tools that help us draft replies.
- To send our newsletter, if you subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- To process and acknowledge your donations, if you make one.
- To analyse and improve the Site.
- To display advertising and measure its performance (with your consent).
- To keep the Site secure and working properly.
4. Legal basis (GDPR)
We rely on your consent (newsletter, contact form, and non-essential analytics/advertising cookies), on steps taken at your request (processing a donation you choose to make), and on our legitimate interest (basic operation, security, fraud prevention). In the EEA/UK, analytics and advertising cookies are only set after you consent via our cookie banner (using Google Consent Mode v2).
5. Advertising
We plan to display third-party advertising through Google AdSense (this is not yet active on the Site). When it becomes active, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including based on your prior visits, where you consent. Google’s use of advertising cookies is described at policies.google.com/technologies/ads, and you can manage ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com. In the EEA/UK, advertising cookies are set only after you consent through our cookie banner.
6. Analytics
We use Google Analytics (via Site Kit) to understand how the Site is used. Analytics cookies are set only with your consent.
7. Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted providers who help us operate the Site:
- Brevo (Sendinblue) — email delivery and newsletter management.
- Google (Gmail, AdSense, Analytics / Site Kit) — we receive contact-form messages by email (Gmail), and use Google for advertising and analytics.
- Lemon Squeezy — donation and payment processing (merchant of record), if you donate.
- Hostinger — website hosting.
When you send us a contact message, we may use AI-assisted tools to help us read it and draft a reply; your message is used only to respond to you. These providers process data under their own privacy terms.
8. International transfers
Some providers (e.g., Google, Lemon Squeezy) may process data outside the EEA under appropriate safeguards, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
9. Data retention
We keep your data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, or until you ask us to delete it. For example, we keep newsletter data until you unsubscribe, and contact messages for as long as needed to handle your enquiry.
10. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact mate.nusser03@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Hungarian Data Protection Authority (NAIH, naih.hu).
11. Children
The Site is intended for a general, adult audience and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.
